Gemini surfactants, the novel surfactants have attracted considerable attention in surface chemistry domain, which are made up of two identical amphiphilic moieties covalently connected at the level of the headgroups by a spacer group. Anionic Gemini surfactant is a new class of surfactant,and it can be divided as sulfonic, carboxylate, phosphate surfactants according to its structural characteristics.
