Characteristic of E shape steel damper is introduced, and effective theoretical formulas for calculating the maximum value of displacement are proposed. ABAQUS software is employed to optimize the structure of E shape steel damper, the results of FEA coincide with the experimental. The method integrated the finite element analysis (FEA) and experiment provides a new concept for the E-shape steel damper design.%对E型钢阻尼器的结构特征进行了介绍,提出了计算E型钢阻尼器最大横向位移量的有效理论公式,并利用ABAQUS软件对某桥梁用E型钢阻尼器进行结构优化设计.有限元分析结果与实验结果比较吻合.有限元分析技术与实验相结合的设计方法为E型钢阻尼器的设计提供了一种新的思路.
