Objective: To study on the efficiency and safety of levetiracetam in the treatment process of epilepsy for children and the effect on the quality of life.Methods: The 220 children with epilepsy were divided into observation group and control group according to different methods.The patients were treated with levetiracetam in the observation group (n =110), while the patients were treated with sodium valproate in the control group (n =110).The treatment effects were observed and compared.Results: ①The effective rate in the observation group was 95.45%, which was significantly higher than 79.09% in the control group patients (P<0.05).②There was no significant difference between these two groups about the score of cognitive function before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment, the values of index in the observation group were higher significantly (P<0.05).Conclusion: Levetiracetam is used to children with epilepsy, and it strengths the cognitive function of patients with improved their quality of life.The treatment is safe and effective.%目的:探讨左乙拉西坦治疗小儿癫痫的有效性、安全性及对患儿生活质量的影响.方法:将220例小儿癫痫患者根据其治疗方式分为两组,观察组110例患者使用左乙拉西坦治疗,对照组110例患者使用丙戊酸钠治疗,观察并比较两组患者的治疗效果.结果:①观察组患者治疗有效率为95.45%,明显高于对照组的79.09%(P<0.05);②治疗前,两组患者认知功能评分无统计学差异(P>0.05),而治疗后,观察组上述指标值明显高于对照组(P<0.05).结论:左乙拉西坦治疗小儿癫痫,提高患者认知功能,改善其生活质量,治疗安全有效.
