A cooling tower of a certain power plant shall be an example in the report to testify the importance of the wind load to the stress of the cooling tower. With the theory knowledge of the wind load,the force,the deformation and buckling under self-weight and wind load shall be cal-culated and analyzed with program ANSYS. Also,the comparison with the seismic load shall be carried out in this report.%以某超大型冷却塔为例，结合风荷载的理论知识，采用通用有限元程序ANSYS，计算分析了冷却塔在自重、风荷载作用下的内力、变形及其稳定性，并通过与地震荷载的计算结果的对比，证明了风荷载对冷却塔结构受力的重要意义。
