Combining with the route selection for added construction of the west section of Mengmiao-Pingdingshan Railway of existing lines,the paper researches the gradient of Northeastern Connection Line,compares and analyzes 7‰ and 6‰ uphill schemes are economical,and chooses the former scheme.%结合既有铁路孟平线西段增建第二线工程选线实例，对增设东北联络线的坡度进行了研究，对比分析了7‰与6‰两种上坡方案的经济性，最终选择了7‰上坡方案。
