This paper introduced the background of municipal road water supply pipeline installation and the determining principle of water pipes, and discussed the layout and installation method of water supply pipeline,from the down tube,rack pipe,pipe installation,testing and other as-pects researched the existing problems in water supply pipeline construction process,and finally gave some improvement countermeasures.%介绍了市政道路敷设给水管线的背景及给水线管材的确定原则，并论述了给水管线管位的布置与敷设方法，从下管、排管、管道安装、试压等方面研究了给水管线施工过程中存在的问题，最后给出了一些改进对策。
