From the location features and historical background of ancient towns, the paper indicates the natural and geographic features of the civil buildings at ancient town of Qikou, sums up the type features of the civil building of Qikou kiln yard and its decoration artistic features, and undertakes the primary exploration for the protection and utilization of the civil buildings of Qikou kiln yard by taking the Qikou Hotel which is reserved well, so as to provide the reference for the protective reconstruction for other ancient towns.%从古镇的区位特点与历史背景出发,谈及碛口古镇民居的自然地理特征,归纳总结出碛口窑院民居的类型特征及其装饰装修艺术特色,以保存相对完好的碛口客栈为例,对碛口窑院民居的保护与利用做了初步探讨,对今后其他古镇的保护性改造提供了借鉴。
