According to American API Spec 2C standards and classification rules of DNV offshore crane equipment, this paper presents design foundation, system component, main equipment parameter, equipment arrangement, pedestal strength and other relevant questions in detail. It is instructive for designers to design similar arrangement, and can provide reference for the domestic crane manufactures.
