As a driving motor ,permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has been applied widely to automotive e-lectrical power steering system ( EPS). In order to meet the requirements of high torque and wide range of speed, it is important to precisely detect rotor position for vector control of the motor in EPS. In this study, by improving the traditional dual Hall design,a new design of Hall sensor was proposed,and the application principle and calculation were also discussed. Finally the performance was demonstrated through the PMSM with newly designed Hall and verified by test.%EPS用永磁同步电动机转子位置传感器的一种新型设计永磁同步电动机目前广泛应用于汽车电动转向系统(EPS)作为驱动电机.在分析EPS系统对永磁同步电动机要求的基础上,根据电机矢量控制需要即时获知转子位置的要求,结合双Hall特点,提出了一种新型霍尔转子位置传感器的设计、应用原则和计算方法,并在双Hall应用的基础上进行了拓展,最后进行了实验验证.
