Based on the historical background of "modernization of governance systems and governance capacity "and "governance" theory, this article made an analysis about the necessity of innovation of the mode for student work in colleges and universities, pointing out the difference between"student management" and"student governance" in terms of identity, institution and responsibility, and advising to construct a governance mode for student work in universities, which is composed of a functional vertical layer consisted of decision-making and execution and a participants′ horizontal plane consisted of the managers and the governance party. At the same time, it also explained the associated implementation path to student governance from the aspects of participation from the contract, multicomponent governance, student develop-ment, and harmonious culture.%基于“治理体系和治理能力现代化”的时代背景和“治理”理论，分析高校学生工作模式革新的必要性，指出“学生管理”到“学生治理”在身份、制度、职责等方面的不同，提出构建由决策层和执行层构成的“职能”纵面、以管理者和治理方共融的“参与者”横面共同组成的高校学生工作治理模式。同时，从契约参与、多元共治、学生发展、和谐文化等方面阐释了“学生治理”的实现路径。
