Images Construction of Soldiers in News Photos of World War II-Take the Example of News of China During the Period from 1942 to 1946
The news photos of News of China are important historical evidence of reflecting the historical reality of anti-fascist war.Content analysis method is used in this article to analyze the soldiers’images constructed in these news photos.From the research we can learn that the News of China presented the image of Chinese soldiers who struggled in trouble at home and abroad,and the image of the Chinese and American soldiers who united together as a whole to fight against the fascist enemy during the World War II.During the war,it inspired people’s hearts and cohesion of social forces,and laid a foundation for the progress of aid to China and the victory of the anti-fascist war.
