The teaching of reading is an important part for English teaching in primary schools. The article focuses on the current situation of teaching in different grades, expounding the methods and activities. It also points out that reading teaching in different grades should use the methods which fits students＇ cognitive characteristics as well as the activity design in reading teaching, designed to promote all aspects of the teaching of reading to be implemented, and ultimately achieve teaching objectives.%阅读教学是小学各个阶段课堂教学中的重要组成部分。本文针对小学英语课堂教学各个阶段阅读教学的现状，阐述了小学英语阅读教学的方法及其活动，并提出不同阶段的阅读教学应采用适合学生认知特点的方法及相关活动设计，旨在促进阅读教学各个环节得到落实，最终达到教学目标。
