We can clarify the confusion by resorting to the intrinsic relationship between the examination and our secondary education system. The nature of English as a course offered at the middle school dictates the inclination of the test towards fundamental knowledge and basic skills of the foreign language. Realizing this can provide guidance for our preparation for the college entrance examination.
