The jacking construction technology is originated from the early steel bridge drag method and the longitudinal connection drag method. It mainly uses jack to replace the traditional pulley group, using the pulley block plate sliding device to replace the drum, to greatly improve the bridge construction technology efficiency and quality. This paper will focus on the basic principles, characteristics and main forms of this technology, and introduces some technical points of this technology in real bridge construction.
