The completion of horizontal well is the most important part during the development process of horizontal well. The appropriate selection for horizontal well completion methods concerns the development process of the oil well directly. The completion of horizontal wells can be done by different ways and depends on production constraints and the reservoir characteristics. The selection of a completion method is directly influced by the degree of rock consolidation, the need for water or gas shut off, the anticipated flow rate,the completion longevity, the shale reactivity and the stability, the degree of grain sorting and the lamination. In this article, the possible methods for horizontal well completion are shown.
