The arts and crafts are the plastic arts for beautifying articles for daily use and living environment. Ascending to the creation of the first work tool of ancient ancestors, it is the accumulation of human civilization and practical experience, when it is materialized, it also is spiritualized and beautified. Work creates beauty, and the qualities of arts and crafts have a significant visual and artistic expression in landscape design. This paper applies the arts and crafts in the modern urban landscape sketch design due to its own unique traditional aesthetics characteristics.%工艺美术是美化生活用品和生活环境的造型艺术。最早可追溯到远古先民的第一件劳动工具的创造，是人类文明与实践经验的积累，在物质化的同时，也在被精神化和美观化。劳动创造美丽，工艺美术的特质在景观设计中同样起到相当大的视觉和艺术表现。用工艺美术自身独特的传统美学特点应用在现代化城市景观小品的设计中，融会贯通，取长补短。
