Engineering geophysical prospecting techniques show a strong superiority in effectively detecting the geological disasters and accurately determining the hydrogeological parameters, but the ever-changing geological conditions raise new challenges for geophysical prospecting. Various geophysical prospecting methods have strong advantage, but still have some inevitable limitations. The author will briefly describe the application of geophysical prospecting in geological disasters and groundwater exploration.%在有效对地质灾害情况加以检测以及对水文地质参数加以精准的测定方面，工程物探技术显示出强大的优越性，但是地质条件的千变万化对于物探也提出了新的挑战，各种物探方法虽然有着强大的优越性，但是仍不可避免的带有某些局限性。以下，笔者简要就物探在地质灾害以及地下水的勘探等方面的应用加以简要介绍。
