For the course of "Database Principle and Application", the main problems existed in the process of teaching is that after learning this course, a lot of students just mastered the basic theoretical knowledge, could not make use of learned knowledge and method to design and exploit the software, result in the teaching and practice disconnect. The paper put forward that the course should be reformed with the mode of"Project Driven", and provided dedicate methods, and remarkable achievements have been gained in practice. Finally, the paper also provided some reasonable feasible suggestions for program design course.%针对“数据库原理及应用”这门课教学过程中存在的主要问题：学生学完这门课程后，有很多仅仅是掌握了这门课程的基本理论知识，不会利用所学的知识和方法进行软件的设计和开发，使教学和实践两个环节严重脱节的问题。提出了以“项目驱动”模式改革这门课程的教学，并且给出了具体的实施方法和途径，在实践中已经取得了明显的成果。最后对程序设计类的课程给出了一些切实可行的合理化的建议。
