Public signs are widely used in our daily life. The translation of public signs is of great importance for its direct guidance to foreigners as well as its influence on the image of a modern city. The author gathered the English translation of public signs in the 2014 Qingdao Horticultural Expo to find the improper translation and gave the suggested versions.%公示语广泛应用于生活中的方方面面，其英译具有重要的意义，它不仅可以为外国游客提供直接导引，而且对一个城市的都市形象也起着重要的提升作用。本文梳理了2014青岛世园会公示语英译现状，提出了具体的语用翻译失误之处并给出建议翻译版本。
