At present, in the college entrance examination and enrollment process in our country, for the three specialties of music, art and sports, we take the different way with other ordinary specialties. Therefore, the students majored in music, art and sports are difficult to studying the basic course, especially for the English study. To improve the college English teaching quality of specialties of music, art and sports, and promote the teaching reform, the author makes a research on the domestic and foreign vocabulary measuring and vocabulary learning strategy, and takes measurement of vocabulary quantity of students majored in music, art and sports in 2013 of four colleges of Hubei province. In the end, it makes empirical research on the feasibility analysis.%现阶段，在我国高考考试及录取过程中，对于音乐、美术、体育这三个专业采取的是与其它普通专业不同的方式，因此，进入大学校园后音体美专业学生在基础课学习上表现出特殊性，这其中大学英语的教与学更是摆在师生面前迫待解决的问题。为了提高大学音体美专业的英语教学质量以及推动教学改革的进行，笔者通过对国内外词汇量测量及词汇学习策略的相关研究分析，拟定对湖北省四所高校的2013级音体美新生进行词汇量及词汇学习策略调查，并对此次实证研究进行可行性分析。
