目前青少年接受性教育的途径，除了网络媒体外，极少接受到正规系统的性教育。中职生性教育不仅空白，而且缺乏主动施教有效引导，中小学生的性知识掌握程度中存在着明显的两极分化情况。有专家指出，这种两极分化不是孩子心理或生理失常，而是某些谈性色变的家长、老师以及专家们集体性心理失常。许多学生都认为学校教育在这方面所起的作用微乎其微，不能把握学生的心理状态和知识基础。%at present teenagers rarely receive the formal system of sex education,except from online media.
