The selection and design of primary parameters and structure are the key technological issues due to large capacity of single generating unit and complex operating conditions of Wudongde Hydropower Station. The developing objective of hydrau-lic turbines, primary parameters and structure of generating units are all determined through the parameter matching study for wa-ter turbines and generators as well as comparison for various solutions. A large amount of analysis and research work was intro-duced, such as the design of water head, rated voltage, main structure of turbines and generators.%乌东德水电站水轮发电机组单机容量巨大，运行条件复杂，主要技术参数及结构选择设计成为该工程的关键技术问题之一。为了解决这一技术难题，设计人员开展了水轮机参数与电站参数的匹配研究及各种方案的比选等工作，以明确机组的水力开发目标及其主要参数和结构。对所开展的大量分析及研究工作，如水头、额定电压、水轮机与发电机主要结构的设计等情况作了介绍。
