Eco-socialism focuses on social justice and uses it as an important method to analyze ecological problems, revealing that the essence of ecological problems lies on social justice, and the injustice of capitalist system is the root of the global ecological crisis. It suggests that social justice must be combined with ecological justice, and a just society with harmony among people, nature and the society itself must be built based on po-litical justice, economic justice and cultural justice, in order to solve the ecological crisis facing humanity and step into a just society. The social justice of eco-socialism has its theoretical defects, which keep it distant from scientific socialism, despite its inheritance of Marxist theory of fairness and justice and its positive significance in exploring the causes and the solutions to eco-problems.%生态社会主义抓住社会正义问题并将其作为分析生态问题的重要方法论，揭示出生态问题的本质是社会正义问题，而资本主义制度的非正义性是产生全球生态危机的根源。将社会正义与生态正义结合起来，从政治正义、经济正义和文化正义等方面构建人与自然和谐以及人与社会和谐的公正的社会主义社会，才能最终解决人类面临的生态危机，走向公正社会。生态社会主义的社会正义价值观，虽然在一定程度上继承了马克思主义的公平正义理论，对认识生态问题的成因以及有效解决生态危机具有积极意义，但是其内在的理论缺陷，注定其与科学社会主义还相距甚远。
