The whole thickening design concept is recommended for manhole reinforcement under high water head in the design process for an actual project case. The manhole reinforcement structure is designed and analyzed respectively applying equal area method, analysis method andfi nite element method. The recommended orientation of manhole reinforcement design is proposed and would be a reference for other design counterparts.%结合工程实例针对高内压下压力钢管开孔补强提出了整体加厚的设计理念，分别运用等面积法、分析法以及有限元法对该开孔结构进行了补强设计及结果对比分析，给出了压力钢管开孔补强设计的推荐思路。
