AEC Narrow Fabrics manufactures versatile narrow fabrics-customized knitted, woven, rigid, and elastic products that support specific product performance needs. AEC's knitted narrow fabrics for medical use range from compression bandages to resin-impregnated tapes for casts and placement wraps for diagnostic devices. With AEC's recent acquisition of Narricot Industries, the company now offers many more possibilities for narrow fabrics including apparel, automotive, bedding, first responder/fire and safety, home furnishings, industrial, medical and military uses. AEC's product line features standard and custom narrow fabrics including: all types of fibers and colors (including metallic); dye-to-match colors for full fashion dark and light color dyeing; rotary screen and transfer printing; woven patterns and designs requiring jacquard looms; and silicone coated, moisture management, anti-static, flame retardant, antimicrobial, stiffeners, and softening finishes. AEC opened in 1986, with its headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Asheboro, NC, USA.
