摘要

This EDI section features two essays that focus on developments in higher education. The first, by J. Ben Arbaugh, Sarah DeArmond, and Barbara Rau (all at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh) is entitled "New Uses for Existing Tools? A Call to Study On-Line Management Instruction and Instructors." Based on their review of instruction-related articles in management education journals, Arbaugh et al. identify that little research has been conducted on how on-line technologies affect the teaching practice and work experience of management educators. This article offers a diverse research agenda for pedagogical research (e.g., experiential learning, student teams), as well as discipline-based research (e.g., job redesign, training and development), to answer questions about how adopting on-line instructional technologies impact management education and educators.
