Welcome to the second publication of AMLE's Books and Resources Review (BRR) section under the new editorial team. As with the March issue this year, I would like to give credit to Ken Brown and Charmine Hartel for compiling this group of resource reviews as part of the pipeline they so graciously handed over to me when I took over the BRR section. I am particularly taken with this set of reviews because each book that is examined presents a perspective, technique, set of skills, or a tool designed to move us beyond criticism into action.
