About three years ago, Blumer & Associates, a small CPA firm in Greenville, S.C., set a goal: to have all of its business processes, including its phone system, operate completely in the cloud."We are pushing not only our software [into the cloud], but everything we could possibly move, we want to move it out of a physical location with the strategy to be able to serve any client, anywhere at any time," explained Jason Blumer, chief innovation officer of the six-person firm. "Now, years later, we serve clients all over the world and we are getting even more clients all over the U.S. and Canada than we are locally."
