July's Leadership Academy, a three-day event focusing on developing young professionals, may have come and gone, but it's not too late to read about participants' experiences on Accounting Tomorrow. Three CPAs under the age of 35 who attended the event put on by the American Institute of CPAs offered up what they learned and were inspired by. Craig Steinhoff, for instance, a CPA at Hill, Barth & King in Boardman, Ohio, wrote that he was floored when, participating in a peer consulting exercise, he realized he "had been attempting to change others around him, rather than working to change himself."
