The needs of today's tax professional increasingly demand an online research platform that is sophisticated, customizable and easily integrated into their own workflow and data. The 109th Congress made more than 1,700 amendments to the Internal Revenue Code—close to a 40 percent increase over the 108th Congress. Last year saw 2,000 bills with tax provisions introduced at the state and local levels. The need for practitioners to be knowledgeable and up to date has perhaps never been greater.
