"CPA firm clients for many years were asking us to help them manage their money," says David Sego, managing director of Texas-based Weaver and Tidwell Financial Advisors (WTFA). "These clients assumed we could help them manage it or at a minimum steer them in the direction of someone who could. Since we are their most trusted advisor, clients typically followed our recommendations. Our clients convinced us that offering financial planning and investment advisory services was something they wanted and would appreciate."
