Amigos Library Services is a nonprofit organization with a mission to "unite libraries for action and strength in service to their communities." They recently hosted a continuing education and professional development online conference called "Work Smarter, Not Harder: Innovating Technical Services Workflows." The conference featured tools and services that meet the changing needs of library user communities. Held on February 13, 2020, the conference gave over 1000 participants from the United States and Canada the opportunity to interact with an online platform that mimicked an in-person conference by featuring three options in each time slot for development. The technical services-based content delivered during the conference is available for one year after the conference broadcast. The conference focused on providing useful information and practical application, including use of current technology, frameworks and approaches to project management.
