The ERM Ideas and Innovations column for this issue is another joint effort from the column contributors/reviewers and me to let you know what is important in electronic resource management (ERM) for each one of us. The topic I posed to my colleagues and myself follows: As more libraries move to an electronic model (e-model) for their collections, the JERL contributors began to think of how this would apply to our own institutions. Here are the topics that we will address and how our approaches differ. 1. Introduction of how we are moving, plan to move, or have moved to an e-model; 2. How each of us are focusing on this question or the issues involved, from a specific to a broader perspective;
