摘要

Star or hyperbranched polymers exhibit desirable intrinsic properties and an increasing attention has been paid over the last decades to their preparation, their characterization and their applications. The aim of supramolecular chemistry is to build molecular architectures using motifs which can spontaneously and selectively associate by non-covalent interactions. In this work by Bernard et al. supramolecular poly(vinyl acetate) [poly(VAc)] 3-arms stars were successfully generated by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT)-polymerized chains bearing hydrogen-bonding heterocomplementary associating units.
