The Third all-Polish Scientific Conference on Biology of flowering, nectar production and pollination of plants organized jointly by the Department of Botany of the Agricultural Academy in Lublin, the Scientific Society of Lublin and the Scientific Research Committee was held in Lublin, Poland, on November 13-14 2001. Professor Elzbieta Weryszko-Chmielewska was the President of the Local Organizing Committee. About 100 delegates attended the Conference. According to the programme 16 oral presentations and 42 posters were accepted. The scientific programme was divided into four sessions, the fourth being a poster session. Four poster awards were granted by an independent poster jury. One of them referred to the report on Seasonal and diurnal variation in concentration of Artemisia pollen in the air in Lublin in 1995-2001.
