Several new models have recently been released as part of Corgi's Aviation Archive range. First is the impressive 1:72-scale Short Stirling Mk Ⅲ EF425/HA-O of 218 Sqn (AA39503, £129.99), as flown by Fit Sgt Arthur Aaron VC during a raid on Turin in 1943 when the aircraft was badly damaged, but the injured pilot helped his flight engineer make a belly landing at an Allied airfield before dying some hours later. The model features crew figures, rotating gun turrets, optional undercarriage up or down and is supplied with a separately fitted bomb load.
