As I have mentioned before, much of the work undertaken by the Trustees comes under the heading of important but boring. We continue to progress the business initiatives of the Society and since the last edition of Trustee Talk: 1. The amended By-Laws have been formally submitted to the Privy Council. It is anticipated that we will receive confirmation that these have been approved in the next few weeks. 2. Sir John O'Reilly, who was appointed as the Chair of the new Audit Committee, has been developing the scope of the internal audit.
