The demand for industrialisation within aerospace, the growing use of carbon fibre composite material and the inevitable need to rely on ultrasound to ensure the quality of the manufacturing process of components in this material, are fostering the evolution and development of the necessary methods, processes and tools for its application. Quality assurance, with increasingly complex condition, and the need for cost reduction open the doors to new solutions such as LUS which demand higher levels of robotisation and automation.
