With international competition as fierce as ever plus extremely tight rules designed to ensure that defence and security exports are conducted responsibly and in accordance with various strict national and international protocols and standards, selling defence equipment has never been harder than it is today. Governments are always the end customer in defence and they like to deal directly with the seller's governments if they can.
