The FreeDry™ unit combines the low-cost benefits of cooling-based dehumidification technology with an advanced low-temperature desiccant rotor for moisture removal and 60 percent lower annual operating costs, said the company. Instead of using natural gas to reactivate the desiccant wheel, the dehumidification unit uses the waste heat from the arena's ice plant.
