Cameroonian carrier Camair-Co began operations with its two new Xi'an MA60 regional aircraft (registered TJX-SE and TJX-SD respectively) on January 23, a month later than planned, with a flight between the capital, Yaounde, and Douala. The aircraft arrived in March 2015, bringing Camair-Co's fleet to five aircraft. The delay to their service entry was due to a hold-up in receiving their type certification from the country's civil aviation authority. The aircraft are part of a trio ordered by the Cameroonian government for $115 million in 2011. The third is due to arrive by the end of 2016. The aircraft are being used on domestic routes in place of the 737-700. Cameroonian crews are currently training on the type in China.
