Over its three days, 26,077 visitors came to the Las Vegas Convention Center, up 7% on 2010, while the 1,106 exhibitors represented a modest but welcome 2% increase over the previous year. The static display at Henderson Executive Airport put up the 'full' sign with 85 aircraft from 37 exhibitors featured, along with 50 marquees and numerous chalets spread over 630,000sq ft. Five more aircraft were displayed in the exhibit halls and — a first for an NBAA Convention — 11 were on show in an outdoor static display adjacent to the Convention Center. Calling the event "a highly successful show," NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen noted: "What we are seeing is that the show is providing real value to the business aviation community, even in these challenging economic times. By every key measure, this year's convention met or exceeded NBAA's expectations. Equally important, the level of enthusiasm we've seen from show participants tells us that their expectations were met or exceeded as well. It's clear that the convention continues to be a must-attend event for anyone whose passion or profession involves business aviation."
