ACROPOLIS AVIATION has put the first Airbus ACJ320neo into service from its home base at Farnborough, UK. The aircraft landed at the Hampshire airfield on February 27 following outfitting by AMAC Aerospace at Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg in Switzerland over 13 months. Installation of the interior was overseen by designer Yves Pickardt of Alberto Pinto, the Paris-based interior architecture, design and luxury decoration agency. At the time of arrival in the UK, the jet had logged 52 hours in the air, accumulated during flight test and positioning operations. Acropolis has since used it on links to Seattle Boeing Field, Washington, and Honolulu in Hawaii.
