In the first week of August the three flying prototypes of the Airbus Military A400M Grizzly passed 500 flying hours since MSN001 completed its first flight on December 11, 2009. At the point the milestone was passed MSN001 had made 80 flights, MSN002 56 and MSN003 11. The fourth aircraft is due to fly before thernend of the year. A fifth will complete the development fleet, while MSN006 is the first production example.
