Eurocopter has recently delivered the first four of eight EC135T2i helicopters ordered by the Russian airline Gazpromavia. They are the first Eurocopter helicopters equipped with Russian-built mission avionics, produced by Transas Aviation. The manufacturer handed overthe first two EC135s at its facility in Donauworth, Germany, on September 14, while Gazpromavia took delivery of a further two in late October. The first two EC135s, registered RA-04092 (c 0863, ex D-HCBM) and RA-04093 (c 0906, ex D-HECX), commenced their delivery flight to Russia on September 17, transiting Poznan-Krzesiny in Poland for a night stop on the journey.
