On June 19 TransAsia Aviation of Malaysia became the launch customer for the Sky Aircraft Skylander SK-105 when it signed for four examples at the Paris Air Show held at Le Bourget. At the same time the company ordered four Reims F406s. Both products are part of the GECI International portfolio.rnYet to fly, the Skylander is a rugged high-wing transport with a fixed undercarriage, and will be powered by two 1,100hp (821kW) Pratt & Whitney PT6-65BS turning five-blade Hartzell propellers. The cockpit will be equipped with an electronic flight information system, traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) and terrain awareness warning system (TAWS).
