The fleet may be small, but the RMAF has enjoyed considerable success with its four in-service aircraft. Operating with No 22 Skuadron (22 Skn) at RMAF Subang/Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. It has participated in seven Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations throughout southeast Asia and supported the deployment of RMAF fighter aircraft as far afield as Australia. Since the first example was delivered in March 2015, the RMAF A400M fleet has achieved in excess of 7,400 flight hours on 944 individual missions and holds the record for the highest utilisation across the global A400M fleet for 2018 and 2019. In 2018, 22 Skn attained a reliability rate of 100% across the fleet for 31 consecutive days and in the third quarter of 2019 it eclipsed even this record, with a period of 100% serviceability for more than 40 consecutive days.
