DELIVERIES OF the Cessna 700 Citation Longitude in Europe can proceed, following certification by the continent's regulator. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency issued the type certificate of the 'super midsized' business jet in July. Approval comes nearly two years after the aircraft was first certified by the FAA in September 2019. A Longitude outfitted for the flight inspection of air navigation aids is due to be handed over to a European customer later this year. Typically, EASA certification follows around six months after FAA approval. The delay has been caused by shutdowns in the US and Europe caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
