China carried out the first deck landing of its indigenous Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC) J-15 Flying Shark fighter on the aircraft carrier Liaoning on November 25. Chinese media reports showed two of the aircraft (552 and 553) in primer with various calibration markings applied making ramp-assisted take-offs and arrested deck landings.
