Steve Black, a member of the Antique Airplane Association, has received type certificate data for the Stinson 10 he's rebuilding. "We needed to understand how the trim system went together," he says. "There's nothing like having the bible of how things go together." Karl Erickson, aircraft conservator at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine, is restoring an Aeromarine-Klemm AKL-26-A, and has gotten drawings for the aircraft's longerons and box spar.
